The original 2x 256Mb memory installed in my Macbook 1,83Ghz was becoming weak to run the recently installed Adobe Photoshop, Desktop Parrallels, itself handling Windows XP and Autocad... so I followed the simple instructions on how to open the RAM bays and exchange the memory capacity with my for USA imported "Crucial 1Gb RAM". The clips are hard to put back in and ensure the RAM is well fixed to the board - the secret is on how far in you can push the RAM with your thumbs *outch*. Overall it was a 1,2,3 easy operation and I recommend all MAC users to upgrade their Macbooks to its limit... you will never have to worry if your Macbook will handle well all the programs you install - excess of memory is always welcomed!
