Macessity today announced the release of TrayStation, a new combination stand, riser and cooling tray for Apple laptops. The cooling tray can also be removed from the base of the stand and used as a portable laptop cooler. Now, is that handy or what?

The base: With a sturdy heavy steel construction, wide footprint, it is bent at a particular angle to provide maximum stability. The Station is powder coated in aluminum color, aims to blend itself in with your Mac setup. It provides a 6" lift from the desk, bringing your laptop screen to a more ergonomic height, easing stress to your eyes and back. At the bottom of the Station, there are 4 non-skid feet, protecting your the surface of your furniture. There are 4 latched at the top of the Station. These latches lock and secure the Tray in place.

The Tray: It is all about smart design. To be used as a cooler, on or off of the Station, the Tray is crafted from 5mm clear acrylic. It is very lightweight, durable, and elegant. To help reducing the build up heat from your laptop during use, the Tray is designed to minimize contact with hot surface underneath the laptop. A gap between the Tray and laptop creates a "heat relief channel". This channel helps ventilating hot air, cooling and improving performance of your laptop.

The Macessity TrayStation will begin shipping on November 2nd for $54.99. Macessity also offers additional cooling trays for $25 each, or two for $45.
