News Apple Releases iMovie 8.0.5 Tuesday, October 13, 2009 - 4:43 PM EST Posted by: Glenn Apple has released the iMovie 8.0.5 update via their Software Update utility and website. According to the releases notes, this update improves compatibility with a number of devices and fixes other minor issues, including:   Improved compatibility with camcorders using the iFrame video format (a new format from Apple based on H.264 video and AAC audio)   Improved compatibility with importing video captured on the iPod nano   Fixed problems with resizing the iMovie window during playback The iMovie 8.0.5 update is recommended for all users of iMovie '09.
