Apple posted the full details about their Mac OS X Snow Leopard Up-to-Date Program today. According to the company, customers who purchase a qualifying new Mac computer or qualifying Apple Certified Refurbished computer from the Apple Online Store on or after June 8th, 2009 that does not include Mac OS X Snow Leopard can upgrade to Snow Leopard until December 26th, 2009 for $9.95 plus tax. Customers that purchased their Mac from an Apple Retail Store or an Apple authorized reseller can also participate in the program
here.
If you prefer to mail or fax in your order for Snow Leopard, simply fill out this order form and send it to Apple. Just remember that your completed order form must be postmarked or faxed within 90 days of the date of your purchase of a qualifying computer or by December 26th, 2009, whichever is earlier.
It should also be noted that if you purchased multiple qualifying systems on a single invoice, you can either purchase a Single-User Upgrade Kit for each qualifying product at a cost of $9.95, or purchase fewer Single-User Upgrade Kits and request the "Right to Copy" for the remaining qualifying products.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard is expected to start shipping in September.
