Targus Intros New Cases for MacBooks

Targus today announced three new carrying cases designed specifically for MacBook, 15" MacBook Pro and accessories. The three new cases are made of durable, high-quality ballistic nylon and custom designed with the Apple user in mind, featuring plenty of space for the MacBook and accessories such as a Mighty Mouse, MacSafe Power Adapter, Apple Remote and an iPod.
"We've created our new Radius line specifically with MacBook owners in mind," said Al Giazzon, vice president of marketing at Targus. "The bags feature upgraded materials and details like headphone cable management that make carrying the MacBook as much an experience as using one."
The Radius Convertible Messenger/Backpack is designed to fit the 15" MacBook Pro and features an EVA molded notebook compartment for added protection. The black and olive Convertible Messenger/Backpack features a zip down workstation with custom sized pockets made specifically to fit an Apple Might Mouse, MacSafe Power Adapter, Apple Remote and iPod. This case also features a business card holder, key clip, pen loops along with a trolley strap for easy transport on rolling luggage. The case converts from a backpack to messenger and includes a zippered pocket to store the backpack straps when not in use. The padded shoulder straps are ergonomically designed for carrying comfort and include an integrated cable management system to keep the iPod headphone cord neatly wound. The product measures 13.3" X 4.18" X 18.10", is 4.18 pounds and has an estimated street price of $99.99.
The radius Messenger is designed to fit and completely protect 15" MacBook Pro. The messenger includes a convenient back pocket to store files and other documents and features locking zipper pulls to secure the notebook compartment at school, in airports, hotels or other crowded areas. The padded removable shoulder strap and carry handle provide comfortable carrying options while the water-resistant material keeps belongings dry during wet weather. The black and olive case can easily accommodate Apple accessories such as MacSafe Power Adapter, Apple Remote and iPod. The case measures 17.13" x 7.09" x 12", weighs 3.08 pounds and has an estimated street price of $89.99.
The radius Vertical Messenger is designed to fit and exclusively protect MacBook. The workstation features customized pockets designed specifically to fit an iPod, Mighty Mouse, Apple Remote and MacSafe Power Adapter. The messenger is black and olive in color and features a slim, vertical design that is easy to carry and store whether in an airplane, at school or traveling from place to place. Made of durable, high-quality polyester the Radius Vertical Messenger is water resistant and able to withstand long-term wear and tear. The product measures 11.02" x 2.17" x 14.17", weighs 2.2 pounds and has an estimated street price of $59.99.
