Apple Releases Security Update 2007-006, Safari Beta 3.0.2

Apple has released Security Update 2007-006 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update addresses two vulnerabilities in WebKit, one of which could lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution. Apple also released Safari 3.0.2 for Mac OS X and Windows. According to the company, changes in Safari 3.0.2 for Mac OS X beta include: latest security updates; improved stability; and improved WebKit support for Mail, iChat and Dashboard. Changes in Safari 3.0.2 for Windows beta include: latest security updates; improved stability; and fixes for text display, non-English systems, and start-up times.
