Got my hands on an old white MacBook C2D and it will replace my Mini 1.66 as my main machine. I cloned my OSX partition to the MacBook with SuperDuper. No problem. Then I cloned my XP partition to the MacBook and everything's fine except that the trackpad doesn't function at all.

I installed the latest version of Boot Camp (on the XP side) to no avail. I went into the Device Manager which said the trackpad was set to off (makes sense since it was on a Mini before). Tried to turn in on and it told me I had to install the driver. Tried automatically doing it and it failed. I tried popping in my Leopard disc. Driver installation failed.

I can use a USB mouse (or I could not have taken any of the above steps) but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a laptop.

Anybody know if there's an Apple trackpad driver I can download?

Thanks for your help.

May be you try some other disk.
It should work.
One more thing that you can do is from device manager uninstall the existing drivers and then again try to run drivers instalation using Leopard dvd.

Yeah, that's exactly what I ended up doing, except it took several tries for some reason.
